COVID-19 UPDATE

Given the uncertain times we are facing, we understand you may have concerns about the potential for exposure. Steam Experts is closely monitoring the current COVID-19 situation and we want to assure you that we are very focused on our customers’ and employees’ safety and well-being. Clean and safe operating procedures have always been a top priority for us, however, in the current circumstances, we are following the guidance of the appropriate governing bodies and local health authorities, as well as taking the following precautions:  

1. We have a strict policy with our team to stay home if they are feeling unwell or are showing any COVID-19 symptoms.

2. We are providing estimates by phone or video message to reduce in-person contact.

3. We are making arrangements, where possible, to clean vacant homes by gaining entry via lockbox, door code or prearrange key drop off – making the entire process of providing our services contactless. Where an entirely contactless service is not possible, we ask that one person meet us at the property to let us in and return when we are finished to minimize contact.

4. We provide our technicians with proper protective gear, including gloves and masks.

5. After the completion of each service our tools and hoses are thoroughly disinfected, using an anti-microbial disinfectant, as well as the regular cleaning of our vehicles. 

6. Contactless payment options are provided, via e-transfer or credit card over the phone.

We will continue to monitor the developing situation and make any and all adjustments necessary. We request that you also make every effort to adhere to social distancing and limit contact with our technicians.
